"I certainly don't have to preach to the choir of my fellow boot campers. It's incredible! I'm still discovering muscles that I only faintly heard mention of in my high school anatomy class. I feel great all day after a boot camp class and I love that everyday is different. It is always a challenge physically and some times mentally when it's pitch dark and below zero, but the sense of accomplishment is nothing you're going to get from a spinning class. It is just as much a mental boost as it is physical!
Caroline, is incredibly motivating, as are all of the other boot campers. The camaraderie completes the experience. I am not yet at the fitness level of most of my fellow boot campers (please see the 8 year dabbling in exercise comment above!) but, the kindness & patience for all levels of fitness makes you want to endure, even when you think you cannot. "I’ve learned over the years, that for me, exercise has to be a "group" thing….I just am not disciplined or motivated to work out by myself…so "camp" sounded like a FUN way to work out. I have made such great progress – when we did push-ups at our first class I could not even do ONE. Burpees?? Fahgetaboutit. But I am personally so happy that I am able to participate…..Caroline is the best!! She constantly encourages me……and allows me to work at the best pace I am able. I’ve never come away from a class feeling that I didn’t give it the best I could…..I’m not compared, criticized or measured up against anyone. Caroline enables us to do the best we can…
I love the social aspect of boot camp too!!! I look forward to seeing fellow boot campers on a regular basis. It has become such a part of our lives over the past year that I can’t imagine not doing it. I am absolutely dedicated to boot camp and all that it offers!
